Nope. No proactive communication, but I started a chat and the last known location was that it was "on rail" - so, putting the pieces together that all my completed forms are "in review" - I'm pretty confident my service center isn't processing my forms until they physically have the R2 on...

I completed all this a week ago, which in itself was several days after I got a VIN. All my completed documentation is still "in review" - I'm quite confident my R2 is still on route to FL.

I'm curious how this works with 'delayed' (longer than expected?) deliveries, when my VIN assigned and all steps opened a couple weeks ago, I've already signed all the paperwork, the credit union has sent them the check, but I'm still driving my trade-in around and I wouldn't anticipate taking...

I'd feel quite confident you're fine with your first reservation so long as your R1T and R2S are showing in your profile. Just checked and mine are.

FWIW, my Tesla MY trade in value was exactly the same between Rivian and Carvana - $61k for a 2020 MY LR w/ 22k on the odo - this being back in June however.

My partners Ford Maverick Hybrid offers it as well.

For me, my comfort with R1T OPD is because of the (high) amount of travel in the accelerator. In my Tesla MY, I was terribly uncomfortable with OPD - I turned it to "low" because I always felt that the regen was too 'jerky.' I had a terrible time controlling my vehicle in stop-and-go rush hour...

Can you elaborate? What version Model 3 did you have? I have a LR Model Y, and have heard this about the R1T - the lack of snapiness comparative to Tesla. The MY is the fastest car I've driven (with the software upgrade to 4.2 0-60), so I'm curious how the R1T's 3.1 0-60 can feel less snappy...

Truly hoping I don't take delivery on Monday with it as-is. The thought hasn't even crossed my mind...
