Gen 1 original powered tonneau cover extended all the way out but will only retract a few inches

Have a 2022 gen 1 R1T with original powered tonneau cover which extended all the way out, but now will only retract a few inches
Anyone experience something similar and is there any way to push it back in manually?
I tried the three button push down fourth button hold for reset recalibration along with pressing the button five times quickly in a row
No soup for me so open to any and all suggestions

Try the button press rest again - but fast. Every time I've seen a thread here about issues with the tonneau, things start working again when the button press reset is done quickly.

I think there may also be a tonneau reset/calibration button in the Settings on the main screen.

(I saw this all as a person that doesn't have a tonneau on their R1T.)

Not sure if you are experiencing the same thing, but this spring mine started only opening about the distance of one section, maybe 5" or so. It seemed to have trouble disconnecting two sections from each other as they enter the front of the bed. I was able to get it past the issue but providing some extra pressure with my hand pushing the cover in the direction of opening after I hit the button to open it. Since getting some debris, I assume, cleaned out by opening and closing a couple times I've not had any other issues.

My 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wide slat TC's would stop after the first or second slat retraction in warm weather. Press on the edge of the TC to give it a push past the hurdle where it is stopping while it is trying to open. Maybe it will continue to retract after that stopping point. I'm onto the roll-up small slats now.

My original V1 cover would do this. Only open one panel. The two panels closest to the cabin would stick together due to dirt/etc. I found I could separate them with a couple of quick bangs with the palm of my hand on the joint. Ultimately I simply started opening the v1 tonneau every day or so which kept them panels from sticking for non-use. Ultimately it was replaced and I have had no issues with the upgraded version, but occasional use still seems to keep it limber.

It's been a while since mine was replaced, but I'm pretty sure I had this issue with both the V1 and V2 tonneau.
