Whew! I was worried that it was going to cost $27,500 for a small 2-seat pickup with subpar range. I’m still not sure how competitive it will be against Ford’s new $30K EV pickup, but who knows if that will ever release for that price anyway.

P.S. When is the Slate supposed to go on sale?

They are asking for additional deposits on the 24th. Deliveries have been stated as late this year, so probably late November early December?

Big question is the battery size / range for the $25k.

I thought there were two options:

“The Slate Truck offers an estimated range of 150 miles with its standard 52.7 kWh battery and up to 240 miles with the optional 84.3 kWh battery.”
