How are people "telling" Rivian what configuration they want? I have a reservation and it allows me to play around with configurations, but how do I "tell" Rivian which configuration I want?

You can only submit the configuration on the design page for what you want if you've been invited to order. I snippetted mine in my original post.

Well this is certainly surprising. Order date of 4/24/26. No previous Rivian ownership. No lease ending soon. Just a regular person with a Tesla trying to get a Rivian lol. South Carolina isn't a big EV state, so maybe they're trying to spread out sales logistically?

I don't even want the LE bc I want Forest Green and Coastal Cloud interior. Submitted order for premium trim as shown below.

LE trim says 8-12 weeks delivery if you order Esker Silver. 4-8 weeks if you order any other color.

Without a doubt. It's also not a coincidence forest green, borealis, and coastal cloud interior got pulled up to Aug/Sept already just a few weeks after they said late 2026/2027 lol. LE take rate won't be high IMO either like you said.

I bet the premium trim starts rolling out sometime in Q4 for those who want it.

You can go in and configure it then save it as a favorite. I’m sure they are generating stats from those saved configurations. They opened up the save option a couple of weeks ago.

Yup, a few days ago, I went in and saved three configs that fit into the LE spec. Any little bit helps I guess

Save your build configuration as a Favorite. I saved a Premium build to hopefully ward off LE queries, but planning on early-MY28 Performance.

As a current owner of VIN 8k-ish RIT, a first 5 minute R2 4servarion holder with an address <5 miles from an SC, I'm happy for you. I like bringing in new people to the brand. My truck is still my favorite vehicle ever, by a long shot. I don't mind dropping a few spots on whatever this "list" currently is driven by.
