Yes, hold off from both at the moment. You could do the bumpers - and plan that brush bars for bumper will come later.Should I hold off on buying both?
Hi there - this brush bar is really heavy duty; it will stand well against a deer. This one is not just for looks. In the area we live, we have significant issues with car/deer accidents. Has anyone had any experience with how the guard holds up to an accident, specifically a deer strike?
On a side note, it is my understanding per the manufacturer, that the front guard will not interfere with cameras or sensors.
Thank you![]()
Tow hooks don't matter - we remove those to bolt this brush bar on. We confirmed the new Rivian with no tow hook, still has the proper mounting bolt bosses. You'll need to cut clearance through the plastic panel for the brush bar (where you'd have a tow hook, if you did have them). Note, our brush bar includes new integrated tow hooks too, so you'll gain those.I have a 2026 R1T, but it is Dual Standard.
Since they don’t have the tow hooks, does that prevent the installation of this product?

For the Gen I, no problem at all. For Gen II, we havent tested it -- we warn that it may obscure the front radar. I made a deal with a guy to test it on his 2025, but then he wrecked his vehicle before he had a chance to test and we're still waiting to get him back in action.
If anyone has a Gen II (aka newer Rivian), I am happy to cut a special deal for you - so we can get the test done sooner.
Thx
