  1. New Tesla Model Y L launching this weekend [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO ELON TALK]

We had to add “Why Him” with James Franco and Bryan Cranston to our Christmas movie list.
  2. NO REVERSE BEEPS ON R1S OR RIT

Look where? The side mirrors give you nothing so there’s no way to tell and the camera from above also gives you nothing so unless I’m gonna get out of the car and look while it’s driving itself, I would like for you to explain to me. How one looks if you get no beeps at all and there’s no way...

  6. 🎉 NEW 🎉 RMaxx Heavy Duty Brush / Bull Bars for Rivian R1T / R1S Front Grille and Rear Bumper - EV Sportline

In the area we live, we have significant issues with car/deer accidents. Has anyone had any experience with how the guard holds up to an accident, specifically a deer strike? On a side note, it is my understanding per the manufacturer, that the front guard will not interfere with cameras or...
  7. Rivian dropped my truck!

Nice…🙄 At this point all we have is the OP word that Rivian reneged….no proof of what Rivian actually offered or didn’t offer.

  9. Tesla self-driving is so much safer, you get an insurance discount for using it

Hahahaha. I see your point with my twisted explanation 🤪
  10. Tesla self-driving is so much safer, you get an insurance discount for using it

My point - Michigan is a no fault state. If I, as a driver, am found to be at fault, I am liable and my insurance assumes the risk. If I am not found to be at fault I have no liability. How does that work for FSD? It cannot have it both ways. FSD is either totally in control of the...
  11. Tesla self-driving is so much safer, you get an insurance discount for using it

Fair and my question was unfairly simple. I understand the difference between liability and risk. Based on what I think I know (which may or may not be much) FSD is being touted as being “perfect” so there should be little to no risk to me a the insured. In Michigan, the owner of a vehicle...
  12. Tesla self-driving is so much safer, you get an insurance discount for using it

Why should I, as a driver have any liability if I am using FSD?

  14. R2 Assembly Production Rate & Time Per Vehicle + Annual Capacity (and vs. R1)

You are correct. My point was a state can be less restrictive (more generous) than the FLSA. At a minimum, overtime is required after 40 hours in a week regardless of what state you are employed in. ☮️
  15. R2 Assembly Production Rate & Time Per Vehicle + Annual Capacity (and vs. R1)

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) governs overtime and no state can be more restrictive than the FLSA. With a few exceptions (public safety employees, police and fire specifically) employees receive overtime for any hours in excess of 40 in a week. ☮️
  16. 12-Month review: I can't recommend the R1S for most people

What Fanboys….Trolls….eh. What about spending every post being intentionally antagonistic…. I’ll take fanboys over that every day. ☮️
