My Gen 2 tri gets the steering wheel vibration and a rather loud humming noise. Lousy engineering. Ridiculous in a $100k ride.Yes, this is very normal, at least on my Gen 2. I even get some initial vibration in the steering wheel when it is running full on. It dampens out after the compressor settles down.
There are numerous post on this topic. One recent post even included an audio file.

The steering wheel slips downward slightly with a bit of a thunk after it moves and sets at the beginning of each drive. Here is a video. Please post what the SC says. Given how common it is, they may say that it is normal. But it would be good to know if there is a remedy. BTW, what is a “slipping” steering wheel issue?
Thanks!
Oh that. My steering wheel does that as well. I’m not sure if it always did it or I just started noticing it 10 months into my ownership. The steering wheel slips downward slightly with a bit of a thunk after it moves and sets at the beginning of each drive. Here is a video.
Have the loud fan, as well, but am considering it SOP for the vehicle. Interesting, you can barely hear it from inside the cabin.
