I didn’t see a Quad Max delivery tracker thread yet, so I figured I’d start one.

I went ahead and ordered an R1T after a test drive this weekend. I’ll be trading in my beloved OG 2022 Gen 1 Quad Large R1T (with preorder pricing).

With apologies to those who put down a deposit a year ago, my order was apparently immediately matched to a vehicle, which I was told is currently in Southern California so not far from delivery that will be in Tempe, AZ.

I put my order in last Tuesday July 15th. Still waiting to be assigned a VIN. Is a told I would get one quickly. But that’s definitely not the case. I had originally ordered the 1st Gen Launch but wound up cancelling it. Test drove the new one and I feel everyday is a week long right now lol.

Did you order an R1S Launch Edition?

I’m surprised you don’t have a VIN yet. My impression was that Rivian would have to work to move these at this price point right now.

That said, I was surprised non-Launch edition options became available so quickly.

It’ll be worth the wait!

I did not and yes I got the R1S Lauch Edition in Slate Blue l. The sale rep said I would get a call within a day or two and that didn’t happen. I agree. I would think they’d be moving them fast. The rep told they had a lot of them pre built too. So was hoping to get mine within 2 weeks. At the time they said delivery was 1 - 3 weeks. Now I see their website saying 3 - 6 weeks.

Yeah I was shocked they they already are promoting the none launch edition. I was also told they’re only releasing a set amount of the lauch additions as well.

Little brother is here and first impressions are that the ride is insanely smooth and handling is pristine. You feel every bump, crack, and pothole on the Gen 1 and the Gen 2 just feels like a more luxurious ride, all around. The graphics and cameras are laughably better, which non Quad Gen 2 owners already know.

Are those the bronze wheels? I can’t tell.

If so, can you post more pictures whenever you get a chance? I haven’t seen many of the bronze and would like to see more.

Do you plan to keep both R1Ts?

I would imagine after driving the new quad, you'll probably never go back to the original...

The configurator is up on Rivian to build all the non-launch edition colors and interiors now live. Not sure when it went up, but you can now custom config the Quad you want.

They look more distinct in person; the first 2 pics are the bronze, third pic is the original black sports

Was kind of hoping my Gravity Dream Edition would arrive first… looks like I have a decision to make

When I ordered on the 17th, the site said 4-6 weeks. Today, it says 1-2 weeks. On the 17th, they told me a rep would reach out in a day or two, but I haven’t heard boo since I put in the reservation, though. I’m hoping the updated timing on the site means we’ll get some good news soon.

Message from rep same day. Purchase information completed today and delivery confirmed by phone.

I ordered a Storm Blue R1S Launch Edition with bronze wheels on July 8, the day of launch..I have heard nothing from Rivian but a bunch of spam..it's i only a littie more than 2 weeks after all. The charger arrived. It will be installed in my home next week.
I ordered some extras for delivery with the vehicle. Do you suppose that could cause a delay?
