Can anyone try to dig up service manual procedure 266468010?

The Service Bulletin isn't very helpful in trying to locate the drain valve itself and inspect it, which I'd like to do ASAP since my service appointment for this is currently mid-August!

I haven’t had the recall but out of curiosity, checked under my front all weather mats. Lots of moisture under the driver side mat. Had to run the AC/battery cooling excessively on a road trip this past weekend…

I just had this done on my truck a few days ago and being in FL I’m always at a high AC usage state. So far no wet carpet but I’m on high alert. Thanks for the warning!

@ATL_R1S if it's not building moisture under your floor mats. Personally, I wouldn't be concerned with a late service date for that. It's very apparent with rubber mats, but check both sides I only had it under the driver side...after the "recall".

Definitely is making considerable moisture. I have the Liner-x mats. This was yesterday after preconditioning the cabin on LO for about 15 minutes, to cool it off from a 120F cabin temp, then driving 45 min home with the AC set to 70.

I dried off what I could with a towel and left the windows cracked in the garage overnight. Could have hooked up a fan but I wasn't trying to spend another minute in the hot garage.

One of the local service partners I chatted with earlier shared that even their mechanics who do the AC drain RSB for dozens of customers have said it's a kind of pain in the ass even with a lift. So I'm probably not gonna attempt it in my garage in this heat. Thankfully just got a call back from service and they're taking it in tomorrow.

I folded up a dry towel to put under the floor mat for my commute today, and checked it when I got home earlier. It was damp. Still havent seen any water draining out on the ground since I noticed this.

In that case I'd give them a call. They got me in earlier in Greenville, if you don't mind driving. It will take a week since it is wet, but once I attached the mats to the ticket they moved it up. I will say it's doing fine now, after the second visit.

It's only 47 potentially non reusable screws/bolts, and some adhesive! Come on, do it.

This happened to me. I was noticing a faint wet sock smell and turns out the carpet under the driver and passenger all weather mat is completely wet. It's a 2023 Gen 1 R1S. I've reached out to Rivian support.

I had this issue in all my vehicles for the past 6 years. Oddly it disappeared when my teen boys moved away.

Thanks for the heads up on this issue. I rarely lift the floor mats but need start checking them on a regular basis.

Exact same situation occurred in my house! We had blamed the dog for all the noxious odors... but the lil' pup was innocent all along.

The Seattle service center scheduled me for July 10 (I am on a road trip right now otherwise it would have been sooner). They said it would likely take a week to address the issue.

Just got my car back and man did I really miss it even though I had a Rivian loaner.

It’s smells like a new car again with new carpet and they even found my missing airtag that fell under the seat.

They went one step further and replaced my cabin filter again that I recently paid for to ensure we have no further issues / smell / concerns.

10/10 - A++ for my DFW service center.
