What branch of Openpilot/Sunnypilot are you using? I would recommend installing one of Lukas' branches of Sunnypilot because it easily allows you to change driving models as well as redoing the calibration. The lane hugging is a driving model issue. I have found that Tomb Raider 7 does a much better job staying more centered in the lane.

Specifically, try installing xnor-tech/sunny-mads-buttons-ui

Yes lane hugging is model, not placement, related. You'll notice the side hugged changes depending on multiple factors - number of lanes, which lane you are in, presence of other cars, divided highway vs not - if you pay close attention over time and multiple scenarios.

I just installed the basic open pilot. It says 0.9.8-release/release3/5a84ebb/Apr 16

I’ll look for how to download the sunny one above and the video you linked for the cables. Thanks!

edit: sunny pilot installed and ready for calibration.

I found the VNE for the Comma, at least in its current SW iteration. It is 94 mph. Above 94 you get the following message. Also the most I can set the cruise speed at is coincidentally, 94 mph. It wouldn't go over 90 mph though even when set at 94. On the plus side, 90 mph according to the Comma is 90 mph according to the GPS and 92+ according to the Rivian speedometer.

See attached photo of a run in Mexico. It had the message "Speed Too High, Model uncertain at this speed." I have to say it was very solid at 90 mph. This eclipses both Tesla and Rivian G1 or G2 ADAS.

Yeah but, how did those Goodyears handle at that speed?

Is this year dependent? I have a 2022 R1S and I can lift up the trim like you did along the seal but it doesn’t want to budge, at all. It doesn’t look like you have to use much force to displace the A pillar trim in the video.

That's just because I've done it a few times. It gets easier to do. It's okay to use a little force. Pull it out towards the back of the car.

No problems with them at all. They've seen the speed limiter more times than I'd care to admit in a public forum. They've been awesome so far. They weren't squirrely feeling at all at high speeds. Traffic was running a consistent 90 or better, and I just cruised along with them.

Hmmm, I’m 215 lbs and have been leaning on this both straight back and at an angle (toward the driver side rear bumper and getting no movement).

The arm coming off the trim piece is showing signs of stress. Not sure how much harder I should be pulling on this. Is this clip attachment the same as your ‘23?

I have a December 2022 build R1T so I think it's probably exactly the same. Be aware there are some elastic loops holding it on as well. You don't need to take those off, just remove the trim enough to get the wire through the gap above the airbag.

That URL isn't working for me. Just keeps rebooting to "Getting Started" after 10% install...

Anyone have an updated URL?

Make sure the URL is correct. That typically is the most common problem. Double check the link. I had that issue once before.
