I was too excited when I got my truck and I ordered a 21” spare from Rivian before realizing that I’d be stuck if I switched to 20’s later.
Spent a long time trying to figure out options and someone recommended I try the 275/60R-20 (GOODYEAR WRANGLER TERRITORY AT RIV RIVIAN XL) since the overall size is quite close and I can still keep the same spare. They were also a lot cheaper than the stock 21s and seem better rated for snow so I’m happy. We’ll see how they behave.
Now at least I have the option of staying on 20s with a different size after winter or just keeping the two sizes. The 21s are great for summer for me so I don’t see a reason to switch. I’ve also gotten at least 27k miles out of the stock ones so that’s much better than my model X.
