Any word on the iWatch app? As a Gen 1 owner, I’m fine not getting the key update, but it sure would be useful to have an official app (with complications) I can use to unlock my truck. The shortcuts are a bit annoying to use and often take over 10 seconds to execute.

I switched from the 21s to the SL version of the Toyos. After about 800 miles I’m observing 2.02 on my early Gen 1 R1T Quad. For reference, my efficiency is dragged down by a lot of short trips; I averaged 2.12 on the 21” pirellis. Very happy with the Toyos so far

Good to know! I’ve been waffling between finding a set of 20”s and buying a 275/60/r20 tire or trying the new 21” Michelin Defenders. Its annoying that they abandoned the 21” wheel size so quickly.

FWIW I called service and inquired about switching to the new 20” All-Season setup with Goodyear Wranglers and I was told something similar: those wheels are not compatible with Gen 1. The advisor did not elaborate further.

FWIW, I haven’t had anyone ask to see the spare as it’s under the cover in the R1T bed. The compact spare should be fine IMHO. Good luck!

Yeah I have a full size spare, but I’ve yet to need it. You’re required to carry one for the permit I have.

Air down and you should be fine. Make sure you bring traction boards, a tow strap, shovel and small piece of plywood.
