Super quiet compared to the Pirellis. Very smooth and comfortable too. How's the tire noise vs the Pirelli's? I'm assuming you were running the stock 21" Scorpions before, right?

Awesome, great to know! I'm nowhere near of wearing my Pirelli's off, but I'm a Michelin guySuper quiet compared to the Pirellis. Very smooth and comfortable too.
Yeah you would be extremely happy. Just make sure they are road force balance properly. These tires are very smooth once they are below 12 lbs of road force without vibration in chassis and steering wheel. Regular dynamic balance are a hit and miss with these big tires. I posted on this on the main defender MS2 tread.Awesome, great to know! I'm nowhere near of wearing my Pirelli's off, but I'm a Michelin guyWould love to switch to those.
Thank you very much for your support, we are grateful for that. Your kit ships today.Thank you for this explanation. You just made me return the pucks I got from Amazon and purchased a set from you.
I have the Rivian pucks. My Costco needed them, but the tech told me they were supposed to get the Rivian pucks s00n.I think the Tesla pucks are different from the ones Rivians need. At least the pucks that my CostCo had that they said they use on Teslas.
Yes, all Rivian's use a puck based system, to safely and securely lift your Rivian. They look like this (which of course are our magnetic pucks).Forgive my ignorance on this subject, but are pucks required for any lifting done on Rivians? Aren’t they put on a normal hydraulic lift at Costco? Wondering more for getting my vehicle inspected…if they have to put it on a lift.
Im sure they will but why go to costco with this car? Independent installers with road force balancers are way superior for mounting and balancing? Tirerack has alot of reputable and recommended installers and none are costco. Discount is a hit and miss, I only take a discount car to it.Would Costco install tires from tire rack, if I stuck with the Pirelli's?
Yeah I used a at home service (not Rivian's) when I had an indecent that destroyed a tire.Im sure they will but why go to costco with this car? As of today the 22’s from Michelin are 115H, which technically doesn’t meet Rivian’s 116 load index requirement. There is an E load rated (119/126s) defender in 22” but it will require a higher pressure to hit the load requirement than the stock tires. What that pressure actually is, I am not sure since the E load index (around 3000lbs vs the 116 load rating of 2600lbs) is measured at 80psi and not the 116H “p metric” pressure of 50psi.they carry Michelin defenders in 22 $398 each for 116h load rating

Their computer showed both 115 and 116 so I dunnoAs of today the 22’s from Michelin are 115H, which technically doesn’t meet Rivian’s 116 load index requirement. 115H unfortunately doesn’t meet the 116H requirement for the R1T or R1S. Rivian even issued a new doorjam sticker (recall) for earlier models that came with non HL 22” 115 load index tires.Hello Dr.

This one is similar to the 116H load standard tires. You will be around 50-55 psi approximately for proper load.
