Update #2 and PSA:

I went to Costco and asked them to check their access/inventory on these tires, as their web portal has yet to show them. Low and behold, *BOOM* - 1) In stock, 2) $60 discount, 3) free installation, 4) Lower "fees" and 5) $1532.91 out the door, installed!!! ?

For comparison, I attached photos of the Costco price paid vs the best @Discount Tire could offer (as posted earlier and above). That's nearly $500 less than DT, folks! ?

The Count needs to know there are two systems at the counter, the retail one where they type in your car info and the direct inventory one where they type in the tire size. The first web based system will say, "nada," but the old green text inventory system pops them right up for B2B ordering from the local hub! You may need to help the "mouth breather" along, as to which system to use for the desired result!

'da Count also needs to know that Costco is running a $60 sale off the set now as well, for Labor Day.... Thanks for letting The Count know he/she/it may have left money $$$ on the DT counter; albeit, not as much as here in WA! ?

I am now averaging 2.5 on the tires after 500 miles break in.

Will send the picture of the efficiency. This is mixed urban and highway.

they are much more efficient now in all purpose mode and I went up to 85 mph on highway and did a few launches. Got 3.6 overall which is impressive.

Actually, send that commission this way as the above poster got it wrong (smile) - It's $289/tire plus tax, installation, hazard, etc. - There is a $60 discount buried in the details - same one I got from Costco! What I like about Costco is one stop shopping and these free included services... For me, the total Out 'da Door bill was $1532.00

I just got the Michelin Defender LTX MS/2 in 22" (XL/115 load), and immediately noticed an improvement in ride comfort.

Did the efficiency go up from the OEM tires?
