2024.27.1 and 2024.27.30 Update are rolling out for Gen1 and Gen2

Mine just showed up also. Installing now but stuck at 94% for several minutes now ?

Did it ever finish? Mine was stuck at 94% for about 40 minutes (90 minutes total into the install). I chatted with Rivian and shortly after the app said the install failed, but I definitely have the new software working in the car- except the update tab in the Settings app says “update didn’t start- a new update will be sent soon”…so I’m not sure if it’s going to re-install it or not.

If I turn auto on the outlets are on in the car when I'm in it and then when I leave they turn off

If I set the timer they are on for that amount of time whether I'm in the car or not

What if I turn the timer on with Auto?

What if I turn neither on?

This is also just for the 120 volt right? The little info button only talks about 120 volt but the graphic shows the 12 volt and the USB ports

Buggy update. Lost garage location control, gear guard crashes the whole system, and it keeps telling me it can’t pair my iPhone but PAAK works and Bluetooth is connected and working. This update needs help.

You pretty much have it. Auto they are on when the vehicle is on. The timer you can set and they will stay on for the duration of the timer and then if the auto is on and the vehicle is on auto takes over, if auto is off they shut off. If neither is on they are off. Essentially set the timer if you need the outlets on when vehicle is off.

None of these were an issue for me except the garage opener on the steering wheel. I just turned location off and back on, drove around the block and it was back.

I suspect it may have come back just leaving the house and returning but did not test that and no way to verify now unless someone who gets the update after me wants to test that theory. I did not have to reboot anything.

I did the same for garage icon. On/Off location and drove out and back. It came back. This was on both the R1T and R1S

I noticed Live Activities on the mobile app stopped working. I’m not sure if this occurred after this 27.1 update or the last mobile app update.

Yes it did finish. I drove it last night after the update and everything seems to be fine no issues like others are seeing.

Installed update last night (Gen 1, April ‘23, Elevation Audio), no issues so far. Garage opener was unaffected, audio seems brighter in Apple Music, and drove around a bit and seems fine. Hope those with issues get updated soon.

No issues here. Everything worked great, no disappearing garage door opener button. Love it and while I'm not an audiophile, the sound output is impressive.

ElectraFi shows 20 pending updates and RivanTrackr shows 2024.27.1 as public for Gen1 and 2024.27.30 for Gen2 .

I haven't got it yet, but hoping it's soon.

Don’t be in a rush…it’s pretty underwhelming since it’s basically just Rivian adding a paywall for previously included services that you’ll have to pay extra to keep in about 60 days, plus the promise of some upcoming new features “sOOnish”

This is working now. I toggled Live Activities off/on. Maybe that did it.

It's a simple fix (if you know what to do), and I've done it 4 or 5 times in the R1T over the past 2.5 years, but my significantly better half, isn't really interested in knowing every sequence to get her R1S right. She just wants to drive . She's good. Just walks in the house and says, "Mark, garage door icon is missing again, do your thing".
