I did two test drives with the R2. The first one I thought the seats were fine but the second test drive, with a different R2, I noticed the seat hitting my upper back right where the split is. I did not notice it on the first test drive so not sure if there is a manufacturing difference or not...
I have the single rack and the bolt on extension on my RAV4 and the tailgate
does not hit when it's the single rack. I leave that on all the time and add the
second only when I take another bike. It will definitely hit with the two bike
configuration.
I bought some pedal covers on Amazon that I put on the pedals when I drive. Piece of mind and also if I have two bikes I don’t worry about pedals scratching each other.
I haven't used Am radio in 20 years and FM for probably 10+ so I'm not sure
this matters to most people. If I had spotty reception, I would just download
a whole bunch of content and stream it Bluetooth.
I bought an R1T a few years ago and had it for about 7 months. Out of that 7 months it
was in service about 3.5 months. I sold it and lost a bit so yeah Rivians quality definitely
let me down. I vowed to never buy one again but I've had time to calm down from the
experience and I do have an...
For gods sake don't update the software away from home if you can help it! If it goes wrong for some reason, it's one thing to be in your driveway and an entirely another thing to be far away.
I'm in San Diego and a black interior is not an issue at all. In fact if you do outside
sports stuff it's much better than a lighter one. I must be lucky too because silver
with black interior is exactly what I was looking to get! No extra cost for me except
if I decide on the 20" wheels.
I...
Seems I got a lemon looking at your vins. My VIN was in the 15K and my truck was in the shop 3 months out of the 6.5 I had it. It never left me stranded but did go into turtle mode a few times. After having basically the entire front end replaced as well as the battery wiring I sold it for $53K...
Reliability plain and simple. Loved my R1T when it was running but had it 6.5 months and it was in the shop over 3 of those. If the R2 proves to be more reliable then I may jump back in but I will wait for the initial units are driven a bit to see if they hold up.
Sorry but major disagree here. Carplay works better for music, navigation, messaging, and phone calls. Rivian would be fine except for Apple Music glitching constantly. To be fair these are software issues and can be fixed but after selling my Rivian and going Carplay full time I never have to...
Had my R1T for 5 months and it was in the service center 51 days! I lost faith in it and sold it last week. It was the least reliable car I have had since I was a teenager and could only afford $500 cars. When it drove it was great but I didn't have faith that every time I got in it it would...
Sold R1T last week and cancelled R2 order today. With all the issues I had with the R1T
I do not want to be first in line to get an R2. If they get there service centers and quality
up to par then I'll reconsider.
