21” tire max mileage

Just out of curiosity what is the highest mileage you have seen prior to replacing your 21” tires.

There’s a wild variation - we’re talking 100% differences. Some say as little as 12-14k and others magically get 30k+

I probably could have stretched out 18k, but I bailed at 14k so I’d have some tread left to part them out.

Just out of curiosity what is the highest mileage you have seen prior to replacing your 21” tires.

OEM set lasted 17.6k for me. Second set is at 19k with probably another 5-8k left. Two things I did between set 1 and set 2: I got an alignment with my local tire store at "A-P low" setting which I drive all of the time. Alignment guy said that I need to be aware that the suspension geometry changes with ride height which skews alignment. (My R1T was seriously out of alignment from the factory which affected OEM tire life.) Secondly, I use conserve for long interstate trips but always at the Low setting and never at the Lowest to maintain the alignment geometry. Just drove 2400 miles round trip at 90% conserve at posted speed limit + 10 and averaged almost 2.5 on the Richter scale.

Just changed mine end of June and had 31k and it was all mainly around town and a handful of trips up to TN and one down to Morgan city LA.
Have had my R1T since Dec 22.
Currently in for its first check up.

Just over 26k after one year. Have rotated twice and no issues noted. We'll see what discount tire says at the next rotation but I'm not expecting anything weird.

Drive pretty much always in all purpose low. About two third miles at highway and the rest around townish speeds. About 3k miles towing smaller camper.

I'm at 33k on the originals and I have no idea how. Not quite to the wear bars yet, but I'll be replacing in the next month or so. Only rotated twice. I know...don't yell at me. I was holding out for a second tire choice, and I'm pumped the Michelins are available now.

I'm just shy of 30K miles and still on my first set of 21" tires. I drive almost all the time in all-purpose normal ride height.

VA has a yearly safety inspection and I'm expecting that it will be too little tread left this fall when mine is due and I'll have to get a new set.

35k on the first set. Set two at 16k now and look great.

Wow. Same exact specs except I haven't changed mine. Bought in Dec 22, 30k miles, I might have a couple K left. Already bought the replacements just waiting for the fronts to wear down a bit.

Lots of highway miles. Really happy with the pirellis. Was able to snag my second set for $1450 after tax w/o mount and balance.
