200 miles from Houston, all chargers appeared and acted like they worked until they didn'tJust curious, was Rivian's map/navigation show them as available?
Was that area heavily affected by the storms? If so, you may expect the chargers to have power, but can't be surprised if they don't.
There were also Spectrum internet outages at the same time that were unrelated to the power outages. The state of TX has its own grid and rolling power issues since the storm reported by employees living in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and the burbs surrounding. They've been dropping off Zoom and Teams calls erratically. Not saying that's the reason, but clearly the TX infrastructure took a hit with the storm.
Costumer service seems to be on an island with little contact with the mother ship. I have never been impressed with it or the guides. This is a situation where CS should know why it’s not working or tell you this is a first report and they will look into it. Rivian has put out a survey. Do it and tell them CS was useless in this situation.Drove 30 minutes out of my way and all 8 chargers don't work ! Called Rivian, they are useless and they could do was report it up the ladder, could not restart stations remotely, only thing they can is offer empty apologies. Pisses me off !
