I like the use of aluminum, but as the owner says in the video, a split slide that pulls out from each side might be better than one long slide. I felt the same way which is why I purchased the @EV Sportline dual slide system. My review of that can be found here, for those looking for a split system.

Concur, the split has been much more useful.

And less expensive, by around $100, I think. But, it is nice that R1T owners have a choice and many options. I can see as many wanting one long slide as I can those like us wanting a split slide! To each! ?

True more options are good. When you say it's cheaper is that before or after my 20% off discount code? ?

I see use cases for both. Some may have items that can't fit on a split system.
Probably before (see below). I just clicked on the link above and saw the 24% discounted price. If the 20% gets applied via a code, afterwards (at checkout), then my comment was against the 24% reduced price and before that generous 20% discount (44% total).

Ken -

The EV Sportline split slider is about $100 less than this 24% EVBASE discounted price - Perhaps your 20% off coupon is on top of the 24% discount, for a 44% total discount? If so, that would bring the price down to about $800.

Edit: I just checked the EV Sportline price for the split slide (no accessories) and it's $900; but they are running a 10% off sale right now, so it's also around $800, plus tax and shipping.

Again, it's great for owners to have options (functionality, add-on accessories options, material used, etc.)! Nice work bringing another option to the masses.

i ordered the evbase slider i also looked at the split slider, the thing that pushed me to the evbase one was that they dropped the tray down between the rails giving it just a little more height, the split slider is basically flat and you lose that inch or two of pocket.. (actually from the pics, it looks like there is a drawer in there, but i couldnt think of anything to go in there..) havent received it yet, hopefully get it soon.. my gear tunnel is a mess right now :)

Great vid! Ty for sharing. A few random thoughts:

1:44 - my OCD really wanted you to leaf-blower out all the debris from the tunnel before removing the wiring covers. ?

5:30: - dig the background music

2:00 - There's another video where someone mentions cutting those panels so they can be reinstalled. Think I saw it on this forum. Hopefully this becomes common (maybe with a template) so those wires aren't left exposed

Hi Marty, the one in the video is pre production. I can check with my contact to see when they will be shipping.
Hi! Thanks for your reply.. to me this sounds like none of these are out in the wild..
had i known that, i think i might have ordered a different one.. (i picked this one because it looks like it dips down low and tries to preserve some of the vertical space).
thanks again for your reply, i'll keep watching my order..

EDIT: I received a few notes updates saying that it would ship in the next week.. then i got one that said it wouldnt ship for 25 days was i ok with that.. i am trying to cancel my order now, with plans of ordering a different one.. no luck getting my order canceled though..
not super happy with this vendor.. when i ordered it it said "in stock and i believe 4 -6 day shipping"
so, i am still "watching my order" and it still says "placed"..
uugh.. i have a trip this weekend which is what i wanted this for, i figured for sure ordering it a month ago would have been enough time..

Were you able to cancel or did you ever receive the EVBase gear tunnel slide? If it came how do you like it?

Yes, it took a bit, but they did cancel and refund the order, i got an RMaxx one from evsportline, i got it bare (without boxes) and added my own rack and baskets on it i actually have it set where the left side is about 42" and the rest is a soft box on the other. works really well.
