EV Sportline R600 wheels + Toyo Open Country A/T III EV tires on R1T

Just put R600 wheels with Toyo Open Country A/T III EV on my newish-to-me 2023 R1T (formerly 21s). Love the look - big thanks to EV Sportline for adding the new Toyo EVs as an option on short notice. Grabbed a 5th as a full size spare.

Since I know I'll get asked, the graphics are Luci from Disenchantment. Our Wrangler is named Luci and the Rivian is Luci II ?

I've driven the R1T about 900 miles and have gotten 2.79 mi/kWh on the 21s. I'll update after I put some miles on these but I had been using Conserve mode pretty heavily so it may not be apples to apples.

Have the same tire on Martians. 1000 miles in I am at 2.32 m/kwh. Relatively heavy foot. No tonneau cover. And about 350 miles of the 1000 I had a RTT on the back.

Looks great! I'd be happy with that number if that's where I land. How do you like them aside from the range?

They have been solid. Great on off road and dirt. And definitely smoother ride than the 22s on the pothole riddled roads of the DC area. As expected, there is more hum from the aggressive treat on them. But nothing that has bothered me even on longer trips. I was going to switch back and forth with the 22s. Instead the sexy black factory 22s are stacked in the garage since I got these.

Those look shockingly similar to the OEM 20" wheels.

Definitely a similar look - 6 spokes instead of 5 of course, but I am a fan of the factory 20s and needed to get out of the 21s. We have 5 miles of primitive roads to get to our place and it wasn't much fun on those.

I've contemplated going down a size to 275/60R20 as that seems to be what several folks are doing, but I admit I wanted to keep that slightly larger 34" size that the truck came with.

Are you happy with the overall ride quality at this size, especially the move to the LT weight?

I was coming from the factory 275/55r21 tires, so these 275/60r20 are within a tenth of an inch of the original tire height for me. Hard to say how I would feel if I was coming from factory AT 275/65r20. That said, it appears there are more sizes coming:

Yeah I’ve been in touch with Toyo and they said they’ve since released the other sizes, but in talking to local tire shops no one has any inventory or any insight as to when they’ll get some. (This is for the Orange County, CA region).

Running out of time on my stock pirellis lol!
