My Range Rover blew AC air thru the seats. I miss that.
It didn't blow AC air. JLR cars have a dedicated peltier cooler under the seat specifically for cooling the air blown into the seats. My Jaguar had it too and I also miss it.

Okay, so I never post in forums, but this one really annoyed me.
I did the soft reboot and it didn't fix it. So I went into the settings turned off the location based garage door on the steering wheel button, then turned it back on and now it works fine.
Settings > Connections > Garages > arrow to the right of your garage. Turn off location based garage opening, then turn it back on. Hopefully that fixes your issue as well.
Doing this also fixed my garage door opener, I really missed that since it went away with last update, thanks!

Do we know when we can expect this update? Seems like a real winner.

If you don't know it's really OK to just not say anything, or say you don't know rather than give bad information.

This update is a departure from the typical updates. Those were every four weeks like clockwork for the past two years.

This one is unique because it's not just a few bug fixes/new features added to the existing code, it's a complete rewrite of the UI, along with code refactoring to support multiple hardware platforms (Gen1 and Gen2) with the same code base.

Rivian has broken their normal release schedule to focus on getting this huge update done right, and they're not going to push it out on a specific date just to keep the schedule. The big constraint here is that the new software has to ship with the Gen2 vehicles, so there is no reason to push it out *earlier* than the first Gen2 vehicles. Gen2 needs both the manufacturing and the software to be ready to go, so I imagine there's a lot of push and pull in the company to get that sorted, but I don't think it's something you can predict - when it's ready to go, it will be released. This is all part of the jump into the unknown with the factory shutdown/retooling/re-ramping that is going to make Q2 such a "mess" on the books. But it is necessary for the 30% manufacturing cost reduction and reaching gross profitability later this year. Q3 is going to be awesome, but rushing things right now will just cause problems down the road.

I expect that after this big update is out, they will go back to the established schedule of every 4 weeks, or maybe establish a new schedule of 1 per month or something like that. But for now, you just have to wait and see.

You are a 100% correct. My R1S is currently at a bodyshop in service mode, but I got a notification yesterday that the cabin was 126 degrees and cooling is being turned on to protect electronics. So maybe 126 degrees F. is the threshhold?
Mine is at 129 now and hasn't said that.

Do you have push notifications enabled in the app. For some reason those are independent of what is happening in the app.

Why is the proximity tuning only related to the 15 pro max?
Maybe it's worse? I have that phone, was working great but lately it's been much more hit or miss and I'm frequently pulling it out to manually unlock rather than waiting for the unlock to happen.

So pulling todays data and historicals from ElectraFi we do know beta went live 4 days ago and is deployed today on a small fleet of G1 vehicles and its about a week from beta to public so regardless of the complexity the test period should be fairly consistent. Assuming it is, first public updates should begin in a few days with majority of fleet being updated within 4 weeks.

I sure hope it is released soon. However, I am reminded of that well known statement about investing "Past performance is not indicative of future results".
