Probably the reason Superchargers aren't showing up is because -- from what I can tell -- the available adaptors don't support Superchargers, just Destination chargers.

My wife and I are leaving on a long roadtrip in our R1T next Monday. I just ordered an $80 adaptor from Amazon. Am going to try it out on the Tesla chargers here in Jackson, WY -- I don't think they're Superchargers, but have never tried. Will report in on results when the adaptor arrives Thursday.
Be careful NOT to use a J1772 Level 2 adapter to try to DC CCS charge your Rivian. Oh man I can see this being a disaster all around. The J1772 standard supports both AC and DC charging but only up to 50kwh. I'm not sure the adapter, car or Tesla SC will know there will be no secondary CCS DC leads. There is a chance the 250kwh could be routed to the J1772 pins by that adapter.

Hi everyone! Here's a video we did today using an aftermarket NACS adapter.

We're in Canada so were super pleased to see everything working here as well as in the states. There's also a charge profile in the video - the truck pulled over 200kW up to 45% as you'd expect.

The nightmare of using the "other" chargers is over!

Yeah I would park my 2016 X at the old ones (often the first nose-in stall) at West Lebanon because it couldn’t take advantage of v3 speeds anyway. And if I was in a charitable mood I would tell the people with newer cars to go charge on the other bank. I wonder if the v3 portion would actually work even if they’re not on the map. It would be nice because that setup (with parking spaces on either side of the chargers) is perfect for EVs like Rivians with charge ports on the opposite corners from Teslas.

I hadn’t realized it but the other locations I mentioned are all still v2s, though they’re in key spots like the Hooksett and Berlin service areas.

Being one that towed a lot with Teslas, it sure was frustrating when people would pull into the trailer spot like that when not towing...

I was also wondering if the V3s would work. I saw someone post saying that they were able to charge, with the adapter, on a V3 that wasn't on the map, but I'm not sure how you'd initiate the charge. If you go into the Tesla app and select "Charge your other EV" it doesn't allow you to select either of those locations.

The West Lebanon would be perfect for a mix of Tesla and non-Teslas. I've seen Tesla's park on the "wrong" side before to charge. Another reason might be that they are opening RAN charges at both locations.

If I receive my adapter before Easter weekend, I'll try charging at West Lebanon.

Can you tell me if the beta update he is running by chance adds the ability to select a trailer towing profile in the Trip Planner in the app (it was supposed to be included in the last software update but was removed for some reason and support has no info on when / if it will be included in a future update) .... thanks for any info you may 'unofficially be able to provide'. :)
He just sent a 10 second clip of a Rivian changing lanes... that's all I have. I haven't seen him in person to ask about all the other fixes. My guess it is an almost ready for primetime beta version. I know he is part of the employee program that allows him to download beta software updates on his personal vehicle. Since he has both a tester and his own personal R1, I"m not sure where the video was taken.

Agree, NE still isn’t great. I knew this was coming based on the recent info in the Tesla app. Lincoln and Orleans aren’t open, and those are very useful.

At least Lebanon NH is getting a RAN, should open very soon, it’s already built. And Conway finally has a charger we can use.
Wow that’s good to hear. What’s the location of the Lebanon RAN?

Edit: found it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rivian/s/9nSFLvYPpB

Usually I had a loaded bike rack on the back, making backing in difficult, and dogs who could sit in the shade of the adjacent tree. For towing you would be better off parking along the back side, so the trailer isn’t blocking the road. Though in 8 years of charging there I never once saw a Tesla with trailer.

Is it just me, or is the app not loading the chargers quickly?

I live in Denver and I'm able to use any Tesla supercharger in CO (with adapter) - are you sure you have your filters setup correctly?

IMG_9580.PNG
Careful heading out with that assumption. You definitely can NOT use any supercharger in Colorado, even with an adapter. A short (very incomplete) list of key locations not available include: Idaho Springs, Silverthorne, Glenwood, Aspen, Salida, Trinidad, Loveland and all V1, V2 chargers. Fortunately EA chargers fill in some of those gaps, but come with the unreliability of that network.

I never realized how amazing the Tesla Superchargers were until I took a long trip with the Rivian for the first time and had to use other networks. What a nightmare time I've had with broken chargers everywhere. This is a great day folks. Let's just hope they build a ton more of these so we can avoid lines. Waiting in line for a charger absolutely sucks.
