Rivian, please let us control the exterior lighting from the app

Specifically I want to be able to turn on the puddle lights, but the bed lights and light bar and/or headlights would be nice too!

Sorry if this has been requested before. I did a quick search and didn’t spot it. On that note, what’s considered the best way to submit feature requests to Rivian? I didn’t see one… (relatively new owner here… I held out for the Dual Motor Max Pack).

Thanks, I’m looking for more granular control than that I suppose. My truck is typically unlocked in my garage when I want this, so I have to go through a lock/unlock cycle to get the lights on that way. Also, my puddle lights don’t come on in that scenario when I just tested it.

Not when you have camp mode on and while camping is a time when this would be useful, say you want to crawl out of your tent in the dark, being able to turn on the puddle light on one side would be great. Or to turn it off after you hop in your tent.

Also related controlling the 110V outlets from the app would be a great upgrade.

Agreed, if like 110v and lighting control in mobile app. Annoying when I’m working out of the trunk in R1s (changing a diaper) and the lights time out and I need to run to the front to turn in the lights.

Highly unlikely. Exterior lighting on a vehicle is regulated. I don’t think Rivian wants to run afoul of compliance by giving drivers granular control over behavior. Or maybe you mean only when parked and not on a public roadway.

Being able to control the outlets from the app would be very helpful (I'm sure you know more than most).

It would be nice to be able to control the lights from the app in camping mode (side mirror spot lights, light bar or fog lights, reverse lights, and bed lights).

The F150 Lightning has had this feature in the app and it's quite nice to have. You can turn the headlights, reverse lights and side lights on independently. It would be great to have something similar on the Rivian. It would be even cooler to have the ability to dim the brightness of the lights in camping situations.

you can submit feedback directly from the app. scroll to the bottom and you'll see the link. that being said, not sure how effective that will be. i know the head of software at Rivian used to be active on reddit but he's been quiet as of late so you could post there: https://www.reddit.com/r/Rivian/

I would like the truck to triangulate my position from my phone or fob and do something special with those lights (dim the others or something). Walking around the truck and having the lights follow me would be a hoot.
