Quick Q: When would one use netflix or games on the center display? Also seems a bit awkward for a web browser as well. Have not been in a tesla, so maybe I am missing the use case.
sitting at a charging station. Being able to watch Netflix/Youtube/Prime is great if you get stuck waiting longer than you'd like. There's a big screen, use it.

As a current Tesla owner, it’s great for when you’re waiting while charging, or really anytime you’re just parked and sitting in the car.

The internet browser on Tesla isn’t great but it does work for passengers while driving (unlike video games and video streaming which is disabled when the vehicle is in drive). We’ve looked up restaurant menus before while driving and a few random other things.

I’d focus on building a relationship which will open the door to an ongoing dialogue. So I would approach it like @DuckTruck did - ask him about himself. Where’s he from. His family. What did he do before Rivian. How did he end up at Rivian. What’s his favorite thing about it. What’s been his biggest challenge there. Personally, if I were in your shoes I’d define success for this meeting as coming away with a relationship and great contact, not by how much information you can extract.
Well isn't that special.
I agree that a little of that would be nice at first, and you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but one would think this person is meeting with you to find out what customers want and need and how to best accomplish that goal. If I were a "Director of Customer Engagement", I wouldn't want to be telling you all about myself.

Maybe a definition of this person's role would help. (
Definition: A customer engagement manager is responsible for building positive relationships with clients by serving as their primary point of contact. Their responsibilities revolve around responding to inquiries and concerns, assisting clients in various services, determining opportunities to offer and sell products, and processing payments, all while ensuring their adherence to contracts and agreements. They must also produce progress reports, prepare presentations, handle calls and correspondence, and generate new leads. Furthermore, as a manager, it is essential to lead and encourage the team while implementing the company's policies and regulations. )

Of course, I'm just a grouchy old lady and don't have time to mess around with that warm and fuzzy stuff. And, oh yeah, while I'm at it, get off my lawn!!!

I’ll just add that since the person from Rivian asked for the meeting, chances are that he expects to be asking the questions. And given his role, I’d expect him to ask about how they are engaging with customers and what they could maybe do better. I seriously doubt he’s asking for the meeting so that he can answer all kinds of specific questions about the truck, dates, manufacturing process, etc, etc, etc, etc. I think there’s a decent chance that he’s been directed to do this by RJ as part of the “improve communications” commitment he made.

I agree 100%...the specific details of the vehicles is NOT what he's after.

I'm sure many a human has also used it as a way to pass the time while their spouse is shopping or something.

First question: if I don’t sign that NDA can we still have lunch?
Second question: what’s good to eat here?

Frankly, although there’s tons of detailed questions I’d like answers to, I would not bombard him with those at this first encounter. I’d focus on building a relationship which will open the door to an ongoing dialogue. So I would approach it like @DuckTruck did - ask him about himself. Where’s he from. His family. Greg,

So you are the twin that I was separated from at birth. I love you, man! When you have a moment, please let me know what you've been doing all these years. Let me know about your family. What did you do before you discovered Rivian? How did you discover Rivian? What’s your favorite thing about Rivian? What’s been his biggest challenge since falling in love with this amazing company?

I wish we could've been paired together, but there's still time! By the way, the family I ended up with is awesome! How 'bout yours?

How much does this thing weigh in the 300 mile pack version and the 400 mile version? What is the GVWR of each configuration above?

I drive an 8000 lb 1 ton at work…. Not sure I want to drive a 3/8 ton pickup that weighs as much as my work pickup as a daily.

Yeah, I agree with the more restrained comments that asking a bunch of details about the vehicle isn’t likely to be productive. The most productive thing would be to talk about their communication strategies, explain why it’s important to customers that they start communicating more regularly and with more information about things that they know.
