Is it possible you feel that way about the lightning since it isn't all that different from the F-150 ICE vehicle? I mean the interior and exterior are basically the same.

Maybe, but we don't own a F-150 with all the new stuff. I haven't even been in a relatively new one. We have a 1999 F350 turbo-diesel duelly manual 4X4 lariat super cab. Not much tech in this guy. Filthy sucker emissions wish!! Hate being around it, so we drive it as little as possible. We use to run canola biodiesel in it until the BD plant closed down a few years ago.

Yes, we know a few too. It is a bit of a rare dude and a cream puff. We should sell it, but just haven't been able to let it go as yet. Maybe after we get our R1T and Lightning.

Yes everyone has many questions. However, try to ask him not to use "soon, very soon, coming shortly" in his response to any of your questions. So anytime he uses that, ask him to reveal something that is not yet announced?

I (LOL) sadly thought through this and there is actually one clear answer - you fight 100 duck sized horses.

Framed as 100 ducks or 1 horse is much harder because ducks can fly and have beaks but a horse is large and can kick hard. It's a tough choice.

But when you take size away from the horse, its mostly harmless and can't overwhelm you by flying to attack from multiple angles like a duck could + you give the duck "horse" size and it can do a flying attack at that size... it's basically over at that point.

Respectfully disagree. Horse-sized duck is over with a single well placed shot, and could feed the family for weeks. 100 little kicking, biting horses is an entirely different matter.

”What entertainment options beyond music can Rivian owners expect on the center display?“ (another huge benefit of Tesla) Netflix? Video gaming? Internet browser?

Frankly, although there’s tons of detailed questions I’d like answers to, I would not bombard him with those at this first encounter. I’d focus on building a relationship which will open the door to an ongoing dialogue. So I would approach it like @DuckTruck did - ask him about himself. Where’s he from. His family. What did he do before Rivian. How did he end up at Rivian. What’s his favorite thing about it. What’s been his biggest challenge there. Personally, if I were in your shoes I’d define success for this meeting as coming away with a relationship and great contact, not by how much information you can extract.

Quick Q: When would one use netflix or games on the center display? Also seems a bit awkward for a web browser as well. Have not been in a tesla, so maybe I am missing the use case.
