Those Hummer EVs are cool looking, first time I saw one I really liked it. If I lived some place like Texas with bigger parking spots I’d definitely consider one.

I saw one of those a few months ago, while sitting in traffic in my r1t, and the only thing I remember from seeing was that thing was huge (in a good way). Never thought I would ever consider owning one before, mainly due to the price (markup especially), but now if the price is somewhat reasonable (e.g. at msrp as someone mentioned earlier), I don't mind do a little more research on these beasts. BTW, if yours 2 or 3 motors? have you tried both variants? any dramatic difference btw the two motor options beside the 10k price tags? My r1t has 4 motors and just for daily short commute I don't notice anything major from my 2 motor Tesla car.

Not getting rid of the r1t but I don't think I'll be driving it much anymore after driving the hummer around. I miss the storage space of the rivian however the ride and super cruise is better on the hummer.... plus it looks way better ?.

Main reason for switching over is to get more range when towing so we will see how that goes but so far I'm getting roughly 360 miles per charge at 1.75 miles per kw... just got new tires so hopefully I can get closer to 2 miles per kw. Going from mud terrain tires to highway should help a lot. Here are a couple pics

Did you get two? I see different colors and wheels. Could you also post some dashboard and seat photos? I am curious; but love my Rivian.

i dont know about the different motors are most of them out there are 3 motor ones...i dont see how it would make much of a difference in daily driving though...they are a tad bit wider and taller but not as much as everyone thinks it is...lengthwise there is a difference of an inch.

just to let you know you can pick up the edition 1s 2023 models for msrp now if you look...but the 24s bring a little over msrp...i paid 10k over but wanted a 24 and a non white one

First of I didn't say I switched... only added... and didn't really respond to everyone but did want to respond to a couple like the one saying about overcompensating. You could literally say that about anyone buying anything and it's just annoying instead of just admiring the beauty of what it is about anything.

I love the rivian but love the hummer too...I definitely don't think I'll be driving the rivian much though after driving the hummer mainly for the smooth ride and non clunking suspension

It's funny how many haters out there though... same thing happens in the hummer group and literally every group I've joined... just always hating on something other than what they have lol... it's almost like they are overcompensating with those comments ?... joking ?
I agree, seems like forums are powered by negativity. I have adjusted to be able to ignore a lot of that.

Unfortunately they kind of mirror today’s society which truly makes me sad.

Be curious to see if the range improves, lI was surprised to see that 1.75 miles per kW, that is not that far behind what many are reporting on their R1T. My R1S is pretty much in the 2.0-2.2 range.

To each thier own. To me the Hummer looks like the jeep gladiator as it can't decide if it is a SUV or a pickup. Growing up my mechanic father was a GMC person so hope Hummer succeds.
Your father was a GMC person or you were? See how important the proper punctuation is?

To be hating on others is the American way.
