Update just downloaded to my truck. For those on ElectraFi you can see by going to Fleet : Your Software Updates and you can see the rollout to the known (on ElectraFi) fleet via Fleet : Software Tracker. I'll apply it when I get home.

I also got the update notification. When I started, it immediately sent me a message that it failed, then began downloading anyway...

You won't get the notification to install until the update has already downloaded to your truck. The progress bar is actually for install, not download.

2023.42.00 previously, though the only fubar'd part was no infotainment for me. I leave most everything on auto and have no issues, and I was able to drive. No complaints about it being cold, still shorts and T-shirt weather here.

No luck for me. I got the update notification when I tried to push from the phone app got a message that the update could not be installed and to call Rivian service. The status is stuck in ‘preparing update’ at 0%. Any others facing the same issue?

It did for me too…wait 5 minutes and it will work.

Had infotainment issue from the 2023.42 update and 2023.42.2 fixed it

Mine did the same. Got the message about it failing, but then it showed "Update in progress". Maybe 15 minutes at 0%. Now showing 7%. Based on other posts here, I think it's likely to install fine.

It will sit on preparing for a while then will go to 7 percent

Mine sits at 0% Preparing for a little while, then it stop and takes me back to the message that the update is ready to install. I can’t seem to get past this step.
