After the recent update I had a notice indicating that the psi needed to be 48. i checked all tires and the psi was 40. i inflated the tires to 48 and the notice was gone. Did the new update require the increase in psi?

If you look in the door jam, the tire inflation sticker says 48psi. You probably just reached the lower threshold for a fault.

Is there a screen that shows current tire pressure?
Yes, but you have to be moving for a bit for the TPMS to activate. On your Driver's display behind the wheel, on the left side is a "tile." Long Press the "<" or ">" buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. These buttons will switch between the different "tiles."

I have two 220 cu foot nitrogen tanks at home and hanger , 35.00 to fill if needed.

dry nitrogen is best , less seepage than compressed air .

You have a built-in air compressor in your vehicle, this really is not needed.

Make sure you check with a digital gauge every vehicle I have owned the sensors were off by 1-3 psi. My current R1T is off by -1 psi so 47 is 48 psi. The digital display from the rear compressor is off by 2 so 46 is 48 psi. I use two different digital gauges to confirm. My Model YP and Model S were off by 3 psi.

dry nitrogen is not best for a roadgoing passenger vehicle. Dry compressed air is just as good, more readily available, and Costs nothing.

how do you purge a tire on a wheel with only one valve?

if you go to any tire installation and pay extra for nitrogen and know the specs on why you will understand, dry, less seepage, no expansion

more heat means expansion of psi
