Definitely interesting, looks like there is a step notch incorporated as well. I am wondering if this becomes an optional tailgate or standard offering.

I will be very berry boberry pissed off if Rivian finally releases the 180 degree tailgate I fell in love with at the LA Auto Show AFTER I eventually get a factory produced working tonneau cover R1T.

My luck, that is exactly what will happen.

Then they will release the electrostatically controlled roof glass tint just to spite me.
