I think I just paid 120 to mount my new tires I bought via tirerack on my model Y.


If you were to spend 100 extra on tire rack you still have to find someone to mount them.

Per tire? Discount/Americas is the installed price of $440. Tire Rack is the same price or less by like $1 but they use Discount for their “house” installs— but you gotta pay $40 I think.

I paid total 120 to swap out the old tires and put new ones on.

Discount Tire will mount tires bought elsewhere. My biggest issue with the OEM tire isn't the cost so much as it is the cost given the lack of longevity. I wouldn't mind paying $400 a tire as much if they lasted 40-50k miles and had a treadwear warranty but 20k miles with no warranty at $400 a tire is just not sustainable.

Yep I’m probably going to buy these end of sept. My 21s are toast. If I had known on conserve would smoke my front tires I would have never turned it on.
