I received the new update today, and my Conserve mode range went down rather than up.

R1T w/ 21" wheels, my range was showing as 359 miles before the update and now it's 347 miles.

To be fair, 359 was a surprise - about 2 weeks ago it was closer to 330, then all of a sudden one day it jumped up.

I've seen many others say that they're around 347 in Conserve mode after the update, so I'm not exactly complaining, just a little curious. Does anyone know what's happening here? My recent Conserve mode driving has been all highway, and usually between 65 - 74 mph, could moderate driving habits have nudged it up?

With the new update you have to reset your driving history to see the effect of the range update, right?

If you have been getting consistently better than the EPA rated range, then when you reset your driving history you will probably see your estimated range go down. It will take some time for your Rivian to learn how your driving habits modify the default estimated range number.

On 20" ATs, my all purpose range went slightly down from 286 miles to 284 miles after update and history reset. Essentially all my driving history was in all purpose. Conserve is now showing 314.

Honestly I think there was an issue with the last update, increasing range inappropriately. Mine was up to 205 on 20s in all purpose. Now down to 284, which sounds realistic in the summer with a bit more of the battery accessible.

Exactly this, 2022.47.X was miscalculating something and it was causing the ranges to inflate if you drove a lot.

Like OP I had my range (20” AT, All purpose) go from 298 to 284. Also before the update my truck was saying I had more range with all purpose than in Conserve.

I'd love to see someone drive 359 miles in conserve mode on 21s without a tail wind, elevation change or driving under 55mph.

After the December update, my max displayed range in AP mode slowly went up to 289 (in line with new EPA figures for R1S on AT wheels). But after the February update, it's back down to 275. Average efficiency after nearly 6,000 miles is 1.91 mi/kWh.
