In the quest to find a suitable AS tire with increased range for the 20" wheel, I came across this tire...
It is a Falken Ziex A/S 275/60R20 tire that is 116H XL rated. Sounds like it fits the bill. Cheaper too. Not sure how this would compare to something like a Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 or the many others that are 115H rated. I'm certainly curious about how these other options would do with road handling, road noise and range.
That said, I've never heard of Falken. Any good?

Falken is a solid brand. I’ve not tried the tire you’re looking at, but I did use their Wild Peak A/T3W once on a Ridgeline I had and it was a really good tire.

I’ve used a number of Falken tires. Like any brand there are ones that are good and ones to avoid. I haven’t used the specific tire you linked.

In (very) general thought, the Falkens I have used wore quickly, were stiffer, but typically a good balance of performance and value. I have not had any regrets about getting any Falken I’ve used and never felt the need to pull them off earlier due to their performance.

Compare the load index. You do not want to install a lighter load index than oem. My 21" Pirelli are 2756 per tire.

That's what 116 is. My 22" truck came with 115 rated tires, but I have seen 116 in the same size.

Falken is a Japanese company with at least one US manufacturing plant so some but not necessarily all are US made. It's a decent brand. It's popular with weekend racers/autocrossers. They make the Azenis which is a street/track tire. I know a few people who run the Azenis and they are happy with them.
