Yup. As we get closer to the announcement, the details we're getting, including images aren't turning me off the EX90 yet. Once the details come out and if the pricing and actual delivery date align, I'll be going with this despite how much I wanted the R1SWith Rivian making me wait until 2024 at the earliest, I need to figure out a way to flip my original pricing R1S for this.

I think you were overreacting.Volvo has all that nanny state BS. Isn’t their speed and acceleration crazy limited with a few other nanny features or was I just reading some overreacting.
Do you plan to use the 3rd row? I can't, in good conscience, put anyone back there.Anything without 3 rows is not really a competitor to the R1S.
But wait. What if I really need to get to Costco really quickly after dropping off the kids at school? lol yeah speed limiting is a non issue for me. Would rather it not be limited but I don't care.I think you were overreacting.
They limit the top speed to 112 MPH, which is slightly faster than what Rivian will let you do.
And it is way faster than the legal limit anywhere. If you find that crazy limiting on your daily commute you need to have your license taken away (and probably will).
I do. I have kids under 10 and want to be able to drive the whole family, including my parents, around town and on short excursions (less than 2 hours). It'll be great for those purposes.Do you plan to use the 3rd row? I can't, in good conscience, put anyone back there.
Be careful. Kids are very litigious these days. Not like when I was a kid and my parents forced us to ride around the back of their 911. I can't forget the sound of that engine. ?I do. I put my MIL back there. She survived.Do you plan to use the 3rd row? I can't, in good conscience, put anyone back there.
Now there's an idea!I put my MIL back there. She survived.
I thought I recalled reading that it was more like 75-80MPH they were limiting the cars to. I must have misread or they were doing that originally and backed down. I agree 112 is more than enough, the Rivian is limited to 115 after all. I don't hit that speed at all but I do hit 80 so that would be unacceptable for me.I think you were overreacting.

This is one of the rare instances when being short is an advantage!Do you plan to use the 3rd row? I can't, in good conscience, put anyone back there.
