Seeing these list of “improvements” come out is semi-comical for me. I just assumed a lot of these quality of life pieces to have already been standard on the Rivian so seeing these updates come out is really making me happy to know that by the time my OC R1S finally arrives it may more closely mimic the spoiled nature of my Model S after all. Can’t wait to see the next few updates between now and maybe the next 3-4 months.. it’s going to be such a different experience than what it is even today.

So I have been putting in the lowest setting every time we pull up in the driveway. I don't actually think new mode will go any lower but just automatically set it so that when you put it in park it goes to the lowest setting.

I wonder how long the kneeling will take. In videos of people changing the ride height they sometimes use time-lapse because of the slow response.

I love the notification of the door not fully closed. I don’t know how many times I go into the garage and wonder why I can hear the radio still playing. And then find my door ajar.

This is a great list. Tons of improvements and I love bug fixes. The software stability of the R1T has been very solid for me so far.

When they say driver facing camera is turned off for privacy….what do they mean? Is someone monitoring that camera? Is this why the guides are so busy?!

I can’t wait for the dash cam. Also, I would love to see the entire LED light bar on the tailgate illuminate when applying the brakes. The brake lights on this truck are too small.

Agree with the sentiments of some as it relates to car play. Give me choices instead of ramming Amazon down my throat. Luckily I mostly use Spotify. This is the first I have seen them reference this camera. Hopefully that means ther are getting close to the hands free spec they reference for Driver+ on the web site.

As this will be the camera they use to ensure you are paying attention. It is possible that they are now using it to get data for implementing the feature and wanted people to know it is only active when Driver+ is engaged.

Dropping height is very fast. I often drop to low at stop lights and it only takes a few seconds. Coming back up can take longer, especially if you are going more than two steps or the compressor needs to recharge the tank.

Turn signals are smallest I've ever seen combined with the fact they are red and not amber. I agree with your comment. Would be great if they also made option for dynamic turn signal using the light bar.
