No I bailed when I had the chance, I was happy to have made it that far.Ouch, hopefully some aftermarket rock slider options come out! Nice work breaking in the new truck! So you didn't do the last part of the trail that follows along the rock fins? Are you heading out of town tomorrow?
Do you remember if the HVAC system blasting when you were charging for this one? Thats cloae to 30% more energy than the SOC would indicate for thr battery. Assuming a typical 15% charging losses from your other sessions this had an additional draw of ~20kw! (Someone check my math too plz).Stop 1 - EA 350kW in Spanish Fork - Max of 219 kW
Charged 38 to 66% in 15 min 56 sec
Total 45kWh delivered
It was pretty warm here today, probably 80 at that stop but in Green River it was almost 90. So temp alone isnāt to blame. AC definitely blasting for both of those stops.Do you remember if the HVAC system blasting when you were charging for this one? wait, i thought the guy with the chain saw was land scaping...Don't drink the NEW Coke... is like a scene from the Texas chainsaw massacre
When I was having trouble DC charging I was on a L2 charger (6.6kW) briefly, during that charge I was running the AC and I could hear the main fan (I assume for battery cooling) going on high at times. When it was all going I think the truck was using more the 6.6kW because I wasnāt actually gaining any battery.Every once in awhile you are hit by what seems to be something like an additional 15 or 20kw draw averaged out over the charging session and the charging overhead goes from like 15% to 30%. I'm guessing that's the cooling system, but holy hell that's a lot of power for hvac. Not sure what else it could be. Weird.
Also, am I going nuts? I swear you posted a link to the video of the trail section you bailed on, but now I can't find it.
