I am starting to consider going back to the max pack and waiting for this stuff to be sorted out.
But then you won't feel like you're from the future ;)

Tech support got the Camp Speaker connected to the Rivian. It was a simple reboot of the Camp Speaker, then connect via bluetooth icon. My wristband starting working after waking up the truck with my phone....it's been flawless since and unlike the video I just hold it near the middle of the door handler and it detects and activates quickly for both open and lock......

Almost worthy of it's own post but I wanted to share this.
RIVIAN actually got in touch with me regarding this post and they wanted to learn more about the specific use cases and how some of these issues arise. They're doing some re-working of the access features. I had a zoom call with one of the engineers today and it was obvious to me that they care a lot about what this community thinks. The good news is, there's a lot of cool updates coming. The bad news is I don't know what they are and when :) But I for one am very glad to be a part of the feedback loop and to know this company actually cares about the end result and how the customers are using their products.

RIVIAN actually got in touch with me regarding this post and they wanted to learn more about the specific use cases and how some of these issues arise. They're doing some re-working of the access features. I had a zoom call with one of the engineers today and it was obvious to me that they care a lot about what this community thinks. The good news is, there's a lot of cool updates coming. I'm mildly curious how they got in touch with you based on your forum activity. Any details around that you're willing to share? It's probably easier for some than others based on usernames etc, but I still find it interesting.

I had a similar experience yesterday regarding the jack adapter I broke while trying to put on the spare during delivery. The guy who delivered my truck connected me with the engineer for that part. Even acknowledging it was partially user error on my part. He asked me to send him some photos etc and generally wanted to understand what had happened.

i won’t do that. But I will suggest to them having a username to @mention. Jeep did that on the Jeep forums and it was a great way to bring their attention to more urgent issues like safety ..

I have no affiliation with Rivian or the automotive industry. Just a normal guy from PA; with a penchant for finding spy shots of Rivian’s factory on open source social media platforms; and an abundance of time, because I’ve not convinced Rivian to put me out of business with priority delivery.
