I’ve never seen the motor as add-on when it’s the only one available. I’m very disappointed.

I reconfigured to an LE R1T at $85k which would only be about $1,700 more than I was going to originally pay for the R1S I had configured.

But, it's definitely leaving a bad taste in my mouth -Not sure I can justify $96k on the R1S - I could afford it, but I don't think it's worth it to me.

I’m out of it is actually ~$95k from my ~$76k original estimate on the configurator. For that price, there are a lot of other EVs I’d buy first.

I was on the fence already and considering the iX instead. The Rivian always seemed like the better deal. I don't need the off-road capability, it was more about a large EV SUV that wasn't a Tesla.

Unfortunately we will probably end up cancelling. I'll wait to see if they change their mind and offer some benefit for long time reservation holders. Considering I put a deposit down well over a year ago and have a launch edition reserved, this big of a price increase now is a kick in the nuts. If they maintain the new pricing we will cancel.

I was a 2018 res. and canceled. For the price increase by the time mine would have been ready, I could possibly get a Lucid Gravity.

There should be an option for "changing to dual/standard" but then it's not my pill.

My thinking is same as yours. I will keep the R1S reservation until decision day (which will now come a lot sooner I suppose!). I also have a Vinfast VF9 on reservation because I love its unusual looks. (Also a cyber truck, and Silverado). New rule in EVs: reserve everything, buy nothing, wait and see.

I feel really awful for all the people here who have been faithfully and anxiously waiting for years. It totally sucks. Same thing happened to the Model Y RWD folks.

Seriously, can we have a poll option titled; "RJ Scaringe is the crusher of my BEV dreams"

I wonder how many reservations they have left at the end of the week? Go from 80k reservations to 20k. Haha. I do not need a truck, so good thing the BMW dealer was supposed to be calling me tomorrow anyway. For ~$100k, the EV options definitely increases quite a bit.

I am keeping my reservation for now to see how this pans out, but if it’s truly ~$15-20k increase, then I’m definitely out.

A smaller profitable number is better than a larger lossy number
Oh I know. But if they suddenly only show... 40k reservations that really hits the potential revenue.
