Interesting comparison of Rivian Blue to Laguna Seca Blue(AKA Smurf Blue) from BMW E46 M3. To me LSB is a little lighter in color, having seen Rivian Blue in person.

I find their reviews honest and entertaining. I don't know about their comment on wireless phone charging being good though. In my experience most wireless chargers in cars are crap and the implementation in the R1T looks terrible as there is no way to keep your phone on the charging coil while driving.

I agree. WE ALL NEED TO BITCH ABOUT THE LACK OF CARPLAY/AA!

Another great review. Pretty much only called out the infotainment and navigation systems for lacking Carplay/Android Auto and also being a bit inaccurate.

Beyond that, nothing new was really said that we didn’t already know.

The e-tron has hands down the best wireless charging setup I've seen. I can't figure out why more companies don't copy them. They should all also have a small fan built into the charging pads to keep phones from getting too hot.

My experience in several different BMWs is exactly tied to the lack of ventilation and heat buildup in the phone. I'm not familiar with the set up in the e-tron but in our e-tron Gt it is absolutely useless as it is difficult to get the phone crammed into it and not even possible if there is any sort of case on the phone.

Is the GT the side load on next to the center console that cradles it?

The dish for charging in the ID.4 is also pretty poor. It's a great way to overheat your phone if you're also using AA/CP, and it is easy for the phone to slide off the charging spot.
