I ran Argentine Pass on Friday with a good friend of mine who has a 1984 4Runner on 37’s.
First of all- if anyone here in Colorado hasn’t run Argentine Pass - you should. I’d love to go with you.
Well it didn’t take long for him to run into some engine problems. We sat on the trail for about 1.5 hours while he tried to get his rig started again. Eventually I had to tow him out… ha! He was very anti-EV before this outing. I had to tow him up about a mile to a good turnaround spot and then tow him back down about 10 miles back down to the bottom. The Rivian handled it all incredibly well!
Then we decided to still run the trail and made it to the top with ease. A few rims took some minor hits, but that’s to be expected with these kind of trails.
