Sure it does. It means they are that much closer to series production and in final phase of pre-pro.Ya just got the email. Doesn’t tell us much of anything though.
Would absolutely love the configurator! A guy can dream! It's almost here. The chatter of media embargo lines up with this. We could be seeing final specs and pricing very soon, if not the configurator.
I’m willing to take the gamble. My R1S is VIN 1663 and I’ve had great luck with it in 43k miles. Those of you on the list to get the first R2s better be prepared for problems. As long as you expect a ton, you won't be surprised. And if you get lucky, and this production ramp up is better than the typical production start, you will be surprised in a good way!
Buckle up!
Gravity buyers who took first delivery units had all their fingers and toes crossed, and hoped Lucid learned from all the problems with the first Air cars produced. I am sure Lucid learned, but that didn't seem to help them.I’m willing to take the gamble. My R1S is VIN 1663 and I’ve had great luck with it in 43k miles.
Fortunately I’m retired and the R2 will be an extra vehicle so if it needs a couple of shop visits it won’t be a big deal.Gravity buyers who took first delivery units had all their fingers and toes crossed, and hoped Lucid learned from all the problems with the first Air cars produced. You could get lucky, but be prepared for what usually happens. It happened with Ford's ramp up of the Mach-e, and they are definitely not new at making cars.
Eyes wide open. Early delivery R1T 7330 VIN June 2022 delivery. Had an issue with the air suspension early on that took awhile to get fixed. Other than that it's been all good. I'd be more leary but we're only about 20 minutes from the service center. Will hang on to the T until we're comfortable with the R2.Those of you on the list to get the first R2s better be prepared for problems. As long as you expect a ton, you won't be surprised.
