I swear at the end it looks like he had the R1T in sport mode rather than offroad mode.
Maybe he tried sport mode hoping the suspension would pull up the wheels and then teeter it off? Just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. But I think we know that the suspension doesn't actually pull in the wheels at sport mode. Then again, owner does say in the video he's only had the vehicle for 4 days, so maybe not too familiar with the settings...

That show has really jumped the shark. I bet it was set up in some sense. Like purposely putting it in a low mode, not using more rocks, etc.
I think you're way overanalyzing it. The video didn't make the R1T look bad by any means, it was just a quick recovery for someone who clearly didn't have enough experience offroading their truck.

Maybe under-analyzing it. Took a short glance, called bullshit, and moved on. In no way did I suggest it made the truck look bad. What I'm saying however is that it's turned into another over-done and fake "reality" TV show for the views.

It'll completely tuck a wheel if most of the weight is split between only two wheels, but I agree this looks like it probably not in the highest mode.

These were taken in "high" with tires at proper inflation (48 psi) for reference:

Also, when you have the truck at extreme angles, it will refuse to change drive heights.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

So for those of us who are not experienced in off road, but want to be... Would this guy have been better approaching this from an angle vs straight on? Seems to me he may have made it over the hump had he done that instead of trying to just go straight over. Just asking so that when i end up in a similar spot, I'll know better!!!:CWL:

And no, that's not me, but i do wish the compass yellow was still available!

100% For a moment I thought he had it in AP but with kneel mode, but as he drove away, the truck was still slammed. Maybe this is another instance of an owner neglecting to RTFM
