Needed a little ‘overflow space’ for an upcoming trip, wasn’t looking to break the bank for a cargo rack as I’m still kind of waiting to see how I’ll be using this truck (had it for seven months now).
Was researching overland boxes, etc, then racks. Came across the MaxxHaul 70115 on Amazon… looked passable, found out it was the same as the Harbor Freight HaulMaster Cargo carrier, which was $100. Didn’t have a coupon, but oh well…
My main concern was the fixed bed crossbars not being ‘adjustable’ to match the mounting method of this cheap-ass rack. Turns out, 33” OC is just about perfect, and it fits.
So, I’ve done the dirty work and put a cheap Harbor Freight rack on my Rivian so you don’t have to… unless you want to… and now you know.
