I'm waiting to see what my insurance does on my totaled R1T. I'll offer my crossbars for sale IF I'm unable to get another R1T.
Meanwhile, you should check out and ask on the Rocky Mountain Rivian Club on Facebook. Someone there may be able to help you as well.
…at the new price, one might just consider the range industries crossbars for over the bed applications.
One thing the Rivian version has that Range industries does not are the locks. If you have a Yakima accessory, definitely consider the Range Industries option. Despite allegedly being compatible with Yakima accessories, using the Skyrise RTT is a real PITA. I’d happily trade the Range Industries crossbars for the Rivian ones, personally.
I think @Rivdog may be advocating against the Range Industries option. If I re-read with “If you have Yakima accessories, I’d definitely (re)consider the Range Industries option”. In short, it sounds like it doesn’t play well with Yakima accessories. That being said, I’m sure the Range Mount will be difficult to get on and off, while the Rivian is fairly easy - hence the locks on the bars themselves. You’re accessories (Thule/Yakima/etc) should have locks themselves and will be fairly secure. Famous last words, amirite?!One thing the Rivian version has that Range industries does not are the locks.
Can things be secured to Range Industries?
