No rattling whatsoever. It's trapped in there with the rubber mat on top of it.Questions: any concern about rattling with the way the charging pads are somewhat free moving? And secondly is there any concern the phone ball mount will leave any marks on the dash/wood over time?
Yes. The wireless charging pads are Qi Certified. The Qi standard includes a number of consumer safety precautions, including heat shielding and foreign object detection.Just curious, is there any protection built into the pads in case some non-phone metallic object is placed on top by mistake?

I would strongly suggest not ordering one until you have your Rivian. This is a very small batch and you would be taking one away from someone who could use it immediately.I'm tempted to order now, but I'm going to wait until Rivian starts my 8 step process.
So I ordered last night using Apple Pay. It shows the charge went through on Apple, but I did not receive any email saying it processed. Any way to check?
