What are Custom units in the Rivian display?

I get toggling Imperial and Metric, but what’s custom? You don’t like miles or kilometers so you define your own distance in cow pastures?

Unfortunately, the latest update does not correct the bug where speed limit signs are in mph when the vehicle is set to the metric system and driven in countries that use the Imperial system. Tesla will convert speed limit signs to kph.
