As someone who vehemently argued that Rivian needs to allow AA/CP, I now wish all these posts would just go away. If you want AA/CP, get an EVPlay. The EVPlay is probably a better implementation than Rivian would do anyway.

Your argument otherwise tells me you don’t understand how a properly integrated CarPlay solution works with the car. Oh Jesus Christ, stop with the hyperbole. Rivian can't even implement a functional Apple Music client. "could", "possibly", "truly" are all bullshit completely unrealistic happy words in this context.

I've had 3 cars with CP (including Volvo) and they all glitch out periodically. There is no perfect implementation and the EVPlay is as good as any of them. God, now you've pulled me back into this stupid argument just because you don't know what you're talking about.

LOL. The Apple Music in its current generation works fantastically, and I love it. It is the only reason I ever play media out of the built-in system instead of out of my add-on CarPlay.

I have no problems with my EVPlay that you allude to. Happy to walk you through the basics of proper installation or you could also involve Alex. Sounds like you need to figure out how to properly install your device.

So you don't have an EVPlay but yet you "know" that it's not as good as an integrated CP solution from a car company that has a history of not only refusing to integrate it but an inability to implement basic features like text messaging. LMFAO.

This thread reminds me of the Cybertruck full of popcorn that I've seen posted here a few times.

It's amazing that people who have never used a great and fully integrated AA/CP system still seem to have a firm opinion on it. And then there are clowns like Toyota that basically just took the dev kit and pressed the install button and forgot about it.
