I am confused a bit - you’d sit in your car to get these necessary messages? presumably you have a radio and could just bring it if evacuate? To be clear, I think the lack of a radio is stupid but these emergency situations just seem sort of odd.

Pretty sure the R1S FM tuner causes a 1-2 second lag so you can’t use it anyway; I just was at a theater and bought a $10 radio. My kids (who know what radio is generally), were like “you can do that”? The concept of portable audio w/o using a phone was something completely foreign to them.

Unsure if any other streaming services (if you subscribe to any) offer the same. I am not sure it is Apple music only - I just happen to sub to that one.

I think RJ is saying “completely unsupervised” whereas the website is saying you’ll be able to be eyes off in certain “controlled” conditions (highway, good weather, etc.). Who knows though!

I assume you are saying the precise name in your contracts? It works for me too. My current issue is my phone contacts do not sync correctly. I’m not sure if it’s an iPhone thing or a Rivian thing but not all of my contacts sync for reasons I cannot figure out.
