I know I'm out of range to expect an invite, but I was considering going down for the March 19th Go Electric event in Rockville where one was going to be on static display. Looks like the test drives are the same week, which probably isn't a coincidence. For anyone in the area with an invite, I'll make the first shameless plea to be your backseat rider you are allowed to bring to the test drive. ?

Wish they really prioritzed LE holders by date instead of having it random, really getting annoyed at the way they set things up. Asked CS twice and still not on the list to get a test drive saying it will happen in batches.

No love for me either. Launch edition pre-order though not as early as yours. By the way, was that your etron GT rollin down Light street Thursday afternoon? Was my first time seeing one in person. Very good looking vehicle.

I chatted in today and they told me (a Jan 2020 holder who lives just outside DC) that I wasn’t on the list yet due to my home being too far outside their area for this one but more will be coming soon. Take it with a grain of salt, but just a data point as well.

It must use North Rockville as the center rather than than DC. Which kinda makes sense given the service location. But they should still use pre-order date and or launch edition for this to prioritize their early supporters. Their approach still seems far too random. But, I've still got some time before my R1S so trying to remain patient.

Is it confirmed an R1T will be there? I haven't seen anything that actually confirmed a Rivian was going to be at this event in Rockville.
