Hi

I carry the rivian (just like my tesla) key card in my wallet as a back up in case the phone isn't working.

Anyone come across a men's wallet that would keep the card protected?

You literally just wrote that you put the key card in your wallet (which protects it), then ask in the next sentence if anyone's come across a wallet that protects it. Inception on yourself lol

I've had credit cards break in my wallet (maybe its just old at this point). So was looking if there is a better constructed wallet out there that may provide better protection.

I’ve had the same issue and ended up switching from a wallet to a card case that I keep in my front pocket. There are card cases made from solid material that would better protect credit cards and such. I think any soft wallet or card case kept in a back pocket could lead to damage if the material flexes when sat on.

I've been using a Ridge Wallet for a few years. Love it. Compact, and provides excellent protection for cards.

Well, the card key has and NFC chip, doesn't it? I think it's a good idea to have a wallet that acts as a faraday cage so it is only usable when it's out of the wallet. This also reduces the risk that the card can be cloned. It's not a huge risk since there aren't any known public attack vectors,,, yet. but its what I do with my credit cards.

You don't need a better wallet, you need to stop sitting on your wallet. Keep it in a front or side pocket, or remove it while sitting.

Sitting on your wallet causes sciatica, back problems etc.

Dango makes a great wallet that can either provide a faraday cage or not depending on which side it's on. I carry it in my front pocket but it's completely rigid.

Bought a mag wallet from Most. Will try it out. Keeps it to essentials (Rivian card, DL and a single cc).

I second ridge.

I had a woven stainless steel wallet for awhile, when it started wearing out I switched to ridge. Burnt titanium, looks great.

This is exactly what I do with the Apple Magsafe wallet. Has worked great for me.
