OP joined yesterday, started a thread for the sole purpose of complaining, and then quickly moved into pure argument. They sure seem to be a troll so they are now the only member of my ignore list.

The most important among all the announcements at the summit is the company’s plans for the R1. The carmaker looks all set to become profitable by H2, 2024, which will come at the back of the success of the R1 lineup and the van. While the exact number of pre-orders has not been disclosed, McDonogh announced that all the orders taken prior to the price increase in March will be completed by mid-2023. As for the orders post the price increase, the deliveries extend “well into 2024.” The top executive further revealed that the carmaker currently doesn’t plan to increase the base price of the R1. The CFO further notes that the company plans to manufacture 85,000 vehicles per annum by 2026.

Is this accurate though because plenty of pre March 2022 R1S holders are into 2024. I think she was was referring to the truck only. I would love to be wrong on this.

Thats a good question. Personally these things do not bother me as they are minimal. I do like Rivian and I want them to succeed. It just feels like they constantly overlook those who have early reservations.... and its frustrating !

Latest update Donny still continues to post…Per his profile he would like everyone to know that his Audi sq5 is the prestige edition, in case you were interested …Good job Donny..paying for the prestige upgrade…probably rolling in the dough..Donny has been put on ignore as it is no longer fun. Sounds like someone has a little sour grapes that I can afford an Audi? Kinda strange, considering that this truck cost me pretty much the same amount the Audi did. Maybe that's your issue, you can't really afford the Rivian and you're all salty about it. Sucks to suck I guess.
